Dziack Outdoor Maintenance Services is a small, family-owned landscaping company looking for a dependable, experienced landscaper who wants the opportunity to grow into a leadership role.
You don't have to know everything on day one. We'll train the right person on our equipment, customers, work standards, scheduling, and day-to-day operations.
Our goal is to train the right person during the 2026 season and have them step into a Foreman role for the 2027 season.
What You'll Do
- Lead and work alongside a landscaping crew
- Operate zero-turn mowers and other equipment
- Mowing, trimming, mulching, weeding, and general landscape maintenance
- Help organize daily jobs and crew assignments
- Train and direct crew members
- Communicate with the owner about jobs, equipment, materials, and customers
- Hardscape projects and pressure washing
- Drive trucks and trailers and safely transport equipment
- Keep equipment, vehicles, and job sites clean and organized
- Snow removal during the winter
What We're Looking For
Reliability is extremely important. We need someone who shows up, works hard, and can be counted on.
We're looking for someone with:
- Landscaping experience
- Strong zero-turn mower experience
- A valid driver's license
- Ability to safely drive a truck and trailer
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work outdoors and perform physical work
- Desire to take on more responsibility and eventually lead a crew
Snow removal is a required part of this position. Snow events can happen at any time, so you must be willing and able to work early mornings, evenings, overnight, weekends, or holidays when needed.
Your Path to Foreman
You'll work directly with the owner and gradually learn:
Equipment → Job Standards → Customers → Job Organization → Crew Leadership → Foreman
As you prove yourself and take on more responsibility, you'll have the opportunity to move into a Foreman position for the 2027 season, with increased responsibility and earning potential.
