What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate position at DYWIDAG?
Summary

The Warehouse Associate will be working with other warehouse employees to make sure products get
picked correctly and all duties are performed safely and in accordance with company policies.
Essential Functions
- Execute cycle counts each month in the warehouse to ensure that the ERP system is accurate.
- Ensure items coming in are place in the right area.
- Ensure that all orders are picked for that day.
- If a wrong item is picked, work with the team to find out why and discuss how this mistake can be avoided in the future.
- Do a minimum of three safety observations per month,
- Oversee all forklift trucks are being maintained
- Check daily’s on each forklift truck and checked by the employee assigned to it.
- Immediately respond and notify the Operations Manager if any safety issues arise.
- Post orders in Navision.
- Ensure that the warehouse employees are printing the mill certificates with each ticket.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Education
- High School diploma or GED required.
Competencies
- Experience with forklifts.
- Flexibility in schedule; ability to work overtime depending upon business needs.
- Ability to exhibit basic skills, read, write and speak English.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
- A proactive, honest, and self-reliant personality, critical thinking, pragmatic & effective communication skills.

- None
Physical Demands
- Required to adhere to all physical requirements involving being able to lift and/or move up to 70 lbs. and working at heights above eight feet.
