About The Role
Take ownership of demand planning and forecasting for a defined category or channel within Dyson US. Leverage advanced planning tools (such as APO) and collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to build, refine, and optimise 18-month rolling forecasts and supply plans. Play a key role in driving cross-functional alignment, process improvement, and successful new product launches.

About The Role

Key Responsibilities
- Forecasting & Demand Planning
- Lead the end-to-end forecasting process for your assigned category, using APO and other tools to deliver accurate rolling forecasts.
- Partner closely with Sales and Marketing to gather data and insight, ensuring demand plans fit evolving customer and market needs.
- Analyse weekly sales and inventory data to highlight risks, opportunities, and make recommendations for adjustments.
- Process & Collaboration
- Oversee supply planning reporting and monitor forecast accuracy, driving regular updates and presenting findings to stakeholders.
- Coordinate planning activities and calendars across Demand, Supply, and Finance teams for assigned category.
- Help shape and streamline planning ways of working; support tool enhancement and adoption initiatives.
- Business Support & New Product Introduction
- Contribute to building category-level and account-level plans that support delivery of key business targets.
- Play a lead role in cross-functional project teams for new product launches, working with operations to establish pipefill and replenishment quantities, and aligning timelines.
- Communicate market needs and supply chain issues to Group and relevant teams, driving alignment to plans and rapid issue resolution.
- Continuous Improvement
- Use root-cause analysis to investigate forecast misses and identify process improvements.
- Consistently seek opportunities to drive accuracy and efficiency across demand and supply planning processes.
- Participate in or lead change initiatives and tool implementations within the demand planning function.
- Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required; Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, or related field preferred.
- 7 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain roles (CPG/retail environment preferred).
- 2 years of experience leading a team.
- Hands-on experience with planning software (SAP/APO or similar) and strong data management/analysis skills.

- Proven ability to partner and influence across different teams and levels of the business.
- Comfortable presenting analysis, guiding discussions, and building consensus with key stakeholders.
- Adaptable, proactive, and curious—energised by solving problems and improving processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to engage at both tactical and strategic levels.
- Experience working in matrixed, fast-paced, and entrepreneurial environments is a plus.
- Must be able to commit to a 5-day office attendance schedule.

Salary : $140,800 - $158,000
