What are the responsibilities and job description for the Crew Member position at Dyson Tree and Landscaping?
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Groundsman to join our tree service team. The Groundsman will assist with the preparation, cleanup, and maintenance of job sites, ensuring safety and efficiency during tree removal, pruning, and other arboricultural operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of equipment and work areas
- Load, unload, and transport tools, materials, and debris
- Operate basic equipment such as chippers, stump grinders, and aerial lifts under supervision
- Maintain safety standards and use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
- Assist the team with climbing, pruning, and removal activities as needed
- Perform general ground maintenance and ensure job sites are clean and safe
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $17.00 per hour
Education:
- Bachelor's (Preferred)
Experience:
- Landscape maintenance: 5 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Required)
