What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Manager - Old Town position at Dysart's?
Our Old Town Travel Stop is currently hiring an Assistant Manager! We are a family-owned and operated business in Central Maine. We value tradition and strive for continual growth and improvement. Candidates should have excellent customer service skills, communication skills, and time management skills. Must be available all shifts, weekends and holidays included. Dysart's offers a shift differential for this position! You'll earn an extra $1.00 per hour when you work weekdays after 2pm (Monday through Friday) and an additional $1.50 per hour for working weekends.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license
- 2 - 4 years experience in retail leadership and food service preferred
- Must serve as a leader
- Must be able to multitask and must be willing to lend extra effort to help others
- Ability to stand/walk for prolonged periods of time, as well as the ability to reach overhead, bend, squat, and twist
- Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 40 pounds
- This is a full-time position that involves working a variety of hours (Days, nights, weekends, and holidays)
