Industrial Maintenance Mechanic (Temporary - 6 Months)

What You'll Do

As an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic, you'll play a key role in inspecting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical equipment and facilities-helping drive reliability and performance across the site. You will inspect, repair, replace, lubricate and maintain mechanical equipment and facilities. Other duties include:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical systems and equipment
• Inspect, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain pumps, compressors, blowers, gearboxes, conveyors, valves, piping systems, and other rotating equipment.
• Perform precision alignment, bearing replacement, seal replacement, and equipment overhauls.
• Create, update, and complete work orders within SAP CMMS.
• Drive preventive and predictive maintenance efforts to reduce downtime and improve reliability
• Partner with experienced mechanics on troubleshooting and performance testing
• Proactively support preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to execute repairs accurately
• Ensure strict adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
• Identify opportunities to improve maintenance processes and equipment performance
• Collaborate with your team to solve complex problems and keep operations moving
• Collaborate with maintenance team members to diagnose issues and validate equipment performance

Requirements:

• High school graduate or equivalent
• 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, chemical, refinery, industrial processing, power generation, or heavy industrial environment.
• Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail
• Knowledge of maintenance tools and their proper use.
• Must be able to successfully obtain a TWIC card.
• Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player
