Apply and share your resume with us today! Primary Responsibilities Lead other Quality Engineers with duties performed in electronics environment. Responsible for maintaining processes. Develops solutions to complex technical issues and problems that impact multiple areas or disciplines. Communicate with internal team members across multiple areas and client team members. May communicate with parties external to the organization Review and sign timecards for accuracy. Inspect components and assembled parts IAW drawings. Review and approve assembly instructions. Approve Procurement requisitions. Read and understand Drawings and Technical data packages. Write Non-conformance and start investigation to root cause. Perform environmental testing and analysis of electrical boards and components. Complete FAI review and conduct source inspection at approved Supplier locations. Report Supplier “notice of changes” to Management. Basic Qualifications Candidate must have BS degree and 8-12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6-10 years of prior relevant experience. In lieo of a degree and High School Diploma/GED with 15 years of experience will be considered Must be able to solve complex problems, relate with other team members, and communicate with other levels of management. Must have knowledge and understanding when reading and interpreting drawings. Must have experience with electrical test environment and test equipment in the Hypersonic program. Must have knowledge of how to efficiently use micrometers, height gages, gage blocks, radius gages, and calipers etc. Experience in an ISO9001/AS9100 manufacturing environment. Must have IPC 610/620 or J standard certification. Candidate must be able to populate handwritten or computer-generated inspection reports. Candidates must have Computer Skills and can use computer software such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, etc. Must be willing to travel to customer sites to perform quality source inspections. Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs. Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area. Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) Secret Clearance. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Government contract and SOW interpretation.
