What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping/Receiving/Trimming-CA position at Dynatect Manufacturing Inc?
DESCRIPTION:
Trim, inspect and pack parts for shipping.
REPORTS TO: Customer Service Manager
To accomplish this it will require them to:
- Have an understanding on how to comprehend a sales order, and backlog report for daily shipments
- Ue time wisely and plan accordingly to cover daily shipments.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Adhere to Ro-Labs “Rule of 5” Safety, Quality, People Development, Productivity, Housekeeping. (All driven by the customer)
- Retrieve parts from the urethane department to assembly area
- Inspect parts and make sure they fit quality standards
- Create a report including which products belong to each team
- Sand parts down using a sand machine
- Operate forklift and observe safety procedures.
- Using tools, trim the parts to quality standards
- Trim, and assemble parts daily.
- Create and become familiar with labels/stickers
- Cover parts in plastic to prepare for delivery
- Package parts to prepare for shipment.
- Inspect, trim, package wheels
- Daily reception of parts into CSI.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES –
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS - (Must have the following for all Production Positions)
High School Diploma /GED or higher level education - Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing - Basic math skills - Ability to read a ruler or tape measure.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS – Ability to read drawings.
