Position Summary
Under the direction of the Production Manager, the Bottling Line Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, performance, and output of assigned bottling lines. This role provides clear direction to line technicians, ensures production targets are met, and promotes a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork.

Key ResponsibilitiesProduction & Operations- Assign daily tasks and monitor team performance to meet production goals and deadlines
- Ensure all bottling lines operate efficiently and meet established quality and performance standards
- Troubleshoot operational issues and collaborate with Maintenance to resolve equipment-related problems
- Maintain accurate daily production logs, QA documentation, and operational reports
- Optimize use of labor, materials, and equipment to reduce waste and control costs
- Ensure proper staffing coverage and communicate staffing needs to management
- Develop and manage staffing schedules across multiple bottling lines and shifts
- Lead by example, fostering a culture of accountability, respect, and strong work ethic
- Provide real-time feedback, coaching, and support to team members to maintain productivity
- Train employees on job functions, safety procedures, and operational standards
- Evaluate technician skill levels and coordinate ongoing training and development opportunities
- Conduct regular check-ins (“pulse checks”) with floor personnel throughout the shift
- Support company initiatives and effectively communicate organizational changes
- Promote and maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment
- Conduct and facilitate monthly safety meetings and participate in ongoing safety programs
- Ensure adherence to company policies, GMP standards, and regulatory requirements
- Identify, resolve, and report safety concerns or compliance issues promptly
- Monitor employee breaks and ensure proper shift coverage
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with the Bottling Manager regarding performance, staffing, and employee concerns
- Handle employee issues professionally, objectively, and confidentially
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Maintenance, Quality, and Operations teams
- Participate in SOP (module) updates, process improvements, and operational initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or bottling environment
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a fast-paced production setting
- Working knowledge of high-speed bottling equipment and processes
- Strong understanding of manufacturing best practices and continuous improvement principles
- Excellent planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer systems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage all levels of the organization
