Duties
- Apply approved chemical agents safely and accurately using a backpack fogger in accordance with pesticide management protocols
- Operate company vehicles and power tools to access treatment areas efficiently and safely
- Use ladders and hand tools to reach elevated or hard-to-access mosquito breeding sites while following ladder safety procedures
- Perform environmental assessments to identify potential mosquito habitats and recommend integrated pest management solutions
- Maintain detailed records of chemical applications, treatment locations, and pest control activities for compliance and reporting purposes
Requirements
- Prior outdoor work experience is highly desirable
- No more than 1 traffic violation in the past 3 years.
- Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles; clean driving record preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks including ladder use, lifting heavy equipment or chemicals, and working in various outdoor conditions
