Job Type: Full-time

Salary Range: $110,000 - $150,000

Location: Hybrid Bethesda, MD (On-site two days a week)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• In depth engineering experience in perimeter solutions, including the design, low level engineering, and delivery of new hardware systems for client applications across the enterprise DMZ.

• Federal experience highly recommended along with comprehensive knowledge of business units functions.

• Proactively engage to assess readiness and ensure zero impact from changes

• Development and maintenance of High Level and Low-Level Design diagrams/documentation

Required Professional Skills:

• Excellent oral and written communication - must be able to communicate at all organizational levels. Strong communication skills to work with senior management to provide status updates, deliver requirements and report details at the correct level

• Building/operating various firewall platforms including Cisco and Palo Alto

• Experience with Cisco ASDM, Firepower and CLI management of Cisco ASAs. 54

• Functional knowledge of Datacenter Micro-segmentation applications such as Guardicore.

• Experience with IDS/IPS products

• Experience with Proxies (ex. A10s)

• Experience with using Splunk indexing and query searches for log correlation.

• Strong attention to details, analytical capability, and excellent verbal and written communications.

• Strong knowledge of network routing/switching (routing protocols, multicast, other LAN protocols)

• Functional understanding of diverse sets of networked applications requiring perimeter management solutions, including HTTP, HTTPS, SSH, FTP, DNS, NTP, ANYCAST services, and others.

• DMZ Network infrastructure knowledge including topology, security policies, firewalls and the L2/L3 switch, and router infrastructure is required.

• Administrator level ability with UNIX (Linux or another variant) is highly desirable.

• Public Trust Tier2 security clearance - Moderate risk (formerly MBI Level 5B)

Education/Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor s degree or 5-10 years of IT experience with Firewalls & Threat solutions.
