Role Description
This is a full-time onsite role located in the Austin, Texas Metropolitan Area. The Engineer will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test innovative drone systems for heavy-duty cargo transport. Responsibilities include enhancing existing drone technologies, creating detailed technical designs, performing performance testing, and troubleshooting system issues. Engineers will also contribute to continual improvement efforts, ensuring solutions are reliable, efficient, and meet industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in engineering design, mechanical systems, and technical drafting
- Experience with testing, troubleshooting, and systems optimization
- Knowledge of robotics, drone technologies, and aerodynamics principles
- Ability to work with interdisciplinary teams, problem-solve, and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Familiarity with safety protocols and regulatory compliance in aerospace or related industries
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, or related fields) is preferred
- Previous experience in drone or aerospace technology development is a plus
- Willingness to work onsite at the Austin, Texas Metropolitan Area location
