About the Role
Dynamo is looking for an enthusiastic, proactive, and detail-oriented Associate Producer who's passionate about video production, groundbreaking journalism, and YouTube. You’ll play a key role in coordinating shoots, assisting with research, managing media assets, and boosting our presence on social media.

With success in this role, you could grow into producing episodes for our series, including “Business Explains the World,” or one day launching your own show.
Key Responsibilities
Production Coordination:
- Coordinate and book guests, shoots, and directors of photography across all shows.
- Maintain and update production calendars and schedules.
- Help ensure stakeholders are meeting deadlines so projects stay on schedule.
Research and Content Support:
- Assist with episode research, fact-checking, and sourcing archival materials.
- Create and maintain essential production documents such as cue sheets.
- Assist with footage and file uploading, downloading, and organization.
Social Media Support:
- Support social media efforts by drafting posts, selecting clips, and maintaining community.
Operations Support:
- Help the Chief of Staff send contracts, pay invoices, and help keep the company running.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in media production, journalism, or related fields.
- Strong research, booking, and fact-checking skills.
- Experience sourcing and verifying archival or historical materials.
- Familiarity with video production workflows and platforms, especially YouTube.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Salary and Expectations
$65k-$75k, full-time (W2) position, with healthcare benefits
Based in our NYC offices, 4 days in person per week and 1 day virtual
