Dynamis is seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Manager to oversee contract execution and support business growth within our Defense & Homeland Security Division. The Senior Manager serves as the principal interface between Dynamis and our government customers, overseeing all aspects of contract performance including cost, schedule, staffing, and compliance while cultivating trusted client relationships and identifying opportunities for organic and new growth. This role requires a strong understanding of government contracting, the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, and the acumen to align delivery excellence with corporate growth objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesContract Execution & Program OversightOversee the successful execution of contracts within the Defense & Homeland Security portfolio, ensuring all deliverables meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.Partner with program managers to monitor contract performance, resolve issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.Ensure compliance with all contractual, regulatory, and corporate requirements, including FAR/DFARS and internal quality management standards.Track program financials, monitor budgets, and support profitability goals across assigned contracts.Business Development & Growth SupportSupport the Director in identifying, capturing, and pursuing new business opportunities within the Defense and Homeland Security markets.Lead or contribute to capture and proposal efforts, including strategy development, teaming, technical solutioning, and pricing coordination.Maintain and update past performance materials and CPARS documentation to support future bids.Build and maintain strong relationships with government clients, industry partners, and other key stakeholders to support growth objectives and client engagement.Conduct market and competitive analysis to inform pursuit strategies and identify emerging trends and needs.Provide insights and technical input to proposal teams and contribute to the development of winning strategies.Leadership & CollaborationMentor and develop project and program management staff, fostering a culture of performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.Collaborate with Corporate Operations (PMO, Finance, Contracts, HR, Security, IT) to ensure effective program support, compliance, and contract delivery.Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on contract performance, risk management, and business development pipeline activities.Represent the company in client and industry engagements, promoting Dynamis' capabilities and reputation for delivery excellence.QualificationsU.S. Citizenship requiredActive Top Secret clearanceBachelor's degree in business, management, or related field required; Master's degree preferred15 years of experience working with the Federal Government10 years in program management, capture, or business development supporting defense or homeland security clientsStrong understanding of FAR/DFARS, federal acquisition processes, and contract complianceDemonstrated success in managing complex contracts/projects and driving revenue growth through capture and proposal effortsProject Management Professional (PMP) certification preferredExcellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skillsProven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentAbility and willingness to travel as neededAbility to work at a minimum three days in-person at Dynamis HQ
