A national company with a facility in the Pontiac, MI area is currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Field Service Technician for opportunities with their growing team. Mechanical Field Service Technician will be working a full-time, with pay rates anticipated to be $23 - 28 per hour based on each candidate's experience and education. Requirements of the position:
- 3 years of recent mechanical experience is required
- 3 years of field service experience at customer locations conducting troubleshooting and performing repairs
- 2 years of disassembly and assemble of mechanical parts
- Able and willing to travel to customer locations as needed (up to 20% travel)
- Understanding of the theory, construction, troubleshooting and repair of standard electric motors
- Own or willing to purchase basic mechanical tools
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to work in the United States (no H-1 sponsorship or student visas considered).· Complete standard pre-hire
- Must be able to successfully pas checks including background, drug screen, references, etc.
