What are the responsibilities and job description for the Soccer Trainer position at Dynamic Youth Sports Training?
We are looking for Soccer Trainers to prepare and conduct 1-on-1 personal training courses for children ages 5-17 in their respective sport. Soccer Trainers responsibilities include preparing a lesson plan, prepare the field or court however necessary for the lesson, and complete the lesson plan with the client in their sport. If you know how to work well with children and how to train/coach in soccer, we’d like to talk with you. Ultimately, you will ensure children develop their soccer skills in order to grow and be successful in it.
Responsibilities
- Complete age appropriate lesson plans for clients
- Prepare courts how needed for training
- Train and coach children ages 5-17 in their sport
- Develop a child's skill in soccer as well as contribute to their success and growth
- Communicate with parent/guardian in setting up training times
- Be able to independently work with children and keep constant communication in all aspects with parents, co-workers, and location providers
- Be able to commute to training location
Skills
- Knowledge and experience in soccer
- Previous college soccer experience preferred
- Familiarity in working with or training children ages 5-17
- Good understanding of how to create an age appropriate lesson plan and contribute to the success and growth of a child in their sport
- Excellent communication skills
- 2 years in soccer playing, training, or coaching
- Able to independently work with a client over a period of time
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
