What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time & Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse position at Dynamic Youth Community Inc.?
Dynamic Youth Community, Inc. is a NYS OASAS-licensed treatment provider for adolescents and young adults with substance use issues. We provide comprehensive, long-term treatment, and provide individual, group, family, and vocational services.
Licensed Practical Nurse under supervision of the Program Director and the Registered Nurse, provides health services within scope of practice, maintains medical records and serves as a liaison for clients needing external care from external providers.
Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for:
- Dispensing daily medication;
- Evaluating members presenting with health complaints or symptoms of illness;
- Maintaining a medical log in compliance with all regulations;
- Scheduling medical appointments;
- Collect and provide any necessary client health records for the purpose of coordination of care with health professionals outside of the facility;
- Medical admission procedures
Salary is commensurate with experience.
