We are currently seeking an experienced Workover Rig Tool Pusher to join our team. This is a leadership role for a safety-focused professional who knows how to run an efficient rig and build a strong crew.
Position Summary
The Tool Pusher is responsible for the overall supervision, safety, and performance of assigned workover rig operations. This individual ensures all operations are conducted safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements while maintaining strong communication with customers and management.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and direct all rig crew members on location
- Ensure strict compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and regulations
- Maintain operational efficiency and minimize downtime
- Coordinate daily workover operations with customers and field supervisors
- Conduct safety meetings and job safety analyses (JSAs)
- Inspect equipment to ensure proper maintenance and readiness
- Monitor inventory, supplies, and equipment needs
- Complete required reports and documentation accurately and on time
- Train, mentor, and develop crew members
- Promote a strong safety-first culture
Qualifications
- Minimum [X] years of workover rig experience
- Prior experience as a Tool Pusher or Rig Supervisor required
- Strong knowledge of workover operations and equipment
- Proven leadership and crew management skills
- Strong safety record and commitment to safe work practices
- Ability to work rotational schedule and in various weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred)
- Well Control certification preferred (or ability to obtain)
