Duties
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to monitor for suspicious activity or safety hazards
- Observe and operate surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to oversee key areas
- Enforce access control procedures by verifying identification and authorizations for visitors and staff
- Maintain detailed logs of patrols, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary during incidents
- Assist with loss prevention initiatives by monitoring for theft or vandalism and reporting suspicious behavior
Skills
- Strong understanding of security protocols and surveillance techniques
- Ability to remain calm and composed during emergencies or conflict situations
- Experience or background in law enforcement, military service, or security is highly advantageous
- Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and loss prevention strategies
