Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and professional Unarmed Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring access points, patrolling designated areas, and maintaining a secure environment for staff, visitors, and property. This role requires a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observation skills, and the ability to respond appropriately to security incidents. Prior experience in law enforcement, military service, or security is a plus.
Duties
- Monitor and control access to the facility through check-in procedures and surveillance systems
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to identify potential security risks or safety hazards
- Observe and report suspicious activities or security breaches promptly
- Respond calmly and effectively to emergency situations, including medical incidents or conflicts
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations
- Operate surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to monitor premises continuously
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying theft or vandalism activities
- Enforce facility policies and procedures to ensure compliance with safety standards
Skills
- Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques and CCTV operation
- Excellent conflict management and de-escalation skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure in high-stress situations
- Background in law enforcement, military service, or previous security work is advantageous
- Effective communication skills for interacting with staff, visitors, and emergency responders
- Ability to observe keenly and report accurately with attention to detail
- Knowledge of loss prevention strategies and security protocols
