Job Overview
- Lead client relationship management with a focus on pipeline integrity consulting, including Engineering Critical Assessments (ECA), Fitness-for-Service (FFS), Regulatory and Risk strategies.
- Act as the primary business development representative for assigned clients, gaining a deep understanding of their integrity programs, technical challenges, operational goals, and risk management drivers to identify opportunities for advanced solutions.
- Support technical discovery processes for prospective clients by engaging subject matter experts, conducting integrity-focused assessments, and developing tailored solution playbooks for risk-based decision-making.
- Achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets by positioning Dynamic Risk’s integrity management solutions as strategic enablers for client safety, compliance, and operational efficiency.
- Document client opportunities and technical requirements in the Company’s CRM system, ensuring accurate and timely updates for pipeline integrity projects.
- Gather and validate technical requirements for engagements, define scope of work, estimate engineering effort and cost, and support the preparation of detailed proposals for integrity management services.
- Develop strategic account plans that identify high-value opportunities for pipeline integrity consulting and software solutions.
- Participate in RFP responses and scope changes for ongoing integrity projects, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance with client specifications and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate internal technical resources for proposal development, contract reviews, and integrity program implementation.
- Represent Dynamic Risk at industry conferences and technical forums, promoting thought leadership in pipeline integrity, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
- Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes impacting pipeline integrity management, advising clients on proactive strategies to mitigate risk.
- Facilitate technical meetings such as Opportunity Development sessions, Proposal Kick-offs, Integrity Approach Development workshops, Cost Estimate reviews, and Proposal Status updates.
- Minimum ten years of experience in the energy industry, with a strong technical background in pipeline integrity engineering. This experience should include working directly with pipeline operators or within consulting firms supporting pipeline integrity programs, risk management, or advisory services in related disciplines.
- An undergraduate degree in Science or Engineering (BSc/BA), a technical certificate (CET) or technical continuing education programs is an asset.
- Demonstrated ability to develop strong enduring relationships with customers to foster value creation for both parties.
- Technical expertise in pipeline integrity, data management or related disciplines.
- Proficient at consultative selling where we actively listen and understand a client’s needs before presenting a possible solution.
- Adept at using CRM to document client opportunities and needs.
- Highly flexible and able to quickly adapt to changing priorities.
- A demonstrated commitment to continued learning either through a structured education program or on the job learning.
