Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented professional to specialize in applying Pebble Tech and River Rock finishes to swimming pools. This role involves transforming pool surfaces with high-quality, durable finishes that enhance both the aesthetic appeal and longevity of the pool. Responsibilities

• Prepare pool surfaces meticulously by cleaning, sanding, and ensuring proper adhesion for Pebble Tech or River Rock applications
• Mix and handle chemical compounds safely, following all safety protocols and using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Apply pebble or river rock finishes with precision, ensuring even coverage, proper texture, and adherence to design specifications
• Operate cleaning equipment such as pressure washers to clean surfaces before application and maintain cleanliness of work areas
• Manage heavy lifting tasks safely when handling materials like bags of aggregate or large stones
• Maintain sanitation standards on-site, including proper disposal of waste materials and cleaning of tools and equipment
• Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met while adhering to safety regulations and quality standards

Qualifications

• Prior experience in pool finishing, tiling, or related custodial or janitorial roles is highly desirable
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques including window cleaning, floor care, and sanitation practices
• Familiarity with pressure washing, chemical handling, and the use of cleaning equipment in commercial settings
• Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy materials safely
• Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients and team members
• Experience with infection control procedures and the proper use of PPE in various work environments
• Ability to follow detailed instructions precisely while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship
