Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a 2nd shift Molding Operator at our Chesterfield, MI location. The Molding Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining injection molding machines to produce parts and components according to specifications. Daily tasks include monitoring machine performance, performing quality checks, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring that safety and quality standards are met. The candidate will work collaboratively with the production team to meet production goals and deadlines.
*2nd shift is from 10:00pm to 6:30am.
Qualifications
- Experience in operating and maintaining injection molding machines
- Ability to perform quality checks and troubleshoot issues
- Understanding of safety and quality standards in a manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification is a plus
- Prior experience in the plastics or manufacturing industry preferred
Compensation: $15.50 per hour 1.00 shift premium for 2nd shift
.50 raise after 30 days.
Salary : $16
