Position Summary
The Procedure Technician assists the Physician with all ordered procedures, maintains the procedure room, and instruments, and operates the C-arm.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Preps the procedure room for procedures
- Maintains a sterile environment
- The technician vitals all patients that are getting procedures
- Maintains charts for all patients receiving procedures
- Conducts all imaging needed for injections
- Scans and uploads all paperwork into patient records
- Responsible for keeping the procedure room stocked
- Responsible for keeping inventory of all medication and medical supplies located in the clinic
- Maintains a steady and efficient workflow
- HS diploma or Equivalent required
- LPN, CMA, or Sterile Technician preferred
- Understanding of electronic medical records preferred
- EMR experience preferred (Prognocis a plus)
- Knowledge of Medical terminology
- Knowledge of Anatomy and Physiology
- Ability to prioritize work and must be detail oriented
- Position may require travel as needed
This position will travel between the Fort Walton Beach, FL and Crestview, FL locations. Applicants must be willing to travel.
