Assembly Supervisor

Job Overview

The Assembly Supervisor plays a critical role in leading day-to-day operations of the Assembly Department, organizing, planning, and coordinating plant assembly activities, and facilitating the professional growth of our Assembly team. This is an on-site position only. No remote work.

Role and Responsibilities

• Keeping track of all the assemblers and manage the process for its efficient functioning.
• Training the assemblers and providing them adequate knowledge about the process.
• Allotting the new employees their work places.
• Educating the employees about the organization’s rules and regulations and keeping them accountable.
• Motivating the employees in achieving the production goals and targets.
• Maintaining records and documents of daily production and dispatched goods.
• Planning employee rules and shift timings.
• Taking important measures on employee safety issues.
• Communicating with the employees to understand their problems and make necessary changes.
• Assigns work to their employees and oversees quality of the work product.
• Attend Department and Company Meetings.
• Perform all duties in accordance with Dynamic NC Quality Management System and Safety standards, using situation-appropriate tools and protective equipment as applicable.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• High School diploma / GED.
• Ability to read and interpret aerospace bill of materials, engineering drawings, customer specifications and instructions.
• 5 years of previous experience, preferred.
• Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Organized, focused, and results-oriented.
• Excellent problem solving and prioritizing ability.
• Excellent, analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Word, Excel.
• Experience utilizing ERPs (Syteline), preferred.
• Perform all duties in accordance with Dynamic NC Quality Management System and Safety standards, using situation-appropriate tools and protective equipment as applicable.
• All candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
• All candidates are expected to adhere to HR and employee handbook guidelines
