What are the responsibilities and job description for the Transportation Finisher position at Dynamic Metals LLC?
2nd shift - M-TH 4 pm - 2 am includes shift differential!
Operates belt sanders, sand blasters and hand grinders to produce products and product parts to established blueprint and engineering specifications.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Selects, mounts, attaches and calibrates a variety of attachments to grind angles, contours, lines and spheres, etc. on to surfaces.
- Must be able to log in and enter labor into Epicor as well as issue material to operations using the Epicor operating system.
- Physical strength, hand-eye coordination, endurance, concentration, computer estimating and communication skills; ability to use necessary tools and machines.
- Assist in other departments as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Safe Practice Guidelines / Required Personal Protective Equipment:
- Safety glasses with side shields as required
- Steel toed/metatarsal safety shoes as required
- Gloves as required
- Earplugs as required
- Face shield and/or gloves as required
- N-95 mask or respirator as required
- Seat belts required on all forklifts
Qualifications and Educational Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- Detail oriented
- Manage time with little to no supervision, self-motivated
- General knowledge and experience in a manufacturing environment
- AS9100 Quality compliance, understanding, and commitment
- High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
