What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fabrication - Bender position at Dynamic Metals LLC?
Perform various tasks in the fabrication department. Maintain quality and safety standards; keep records; maintain equipment and supplies.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Set-up and operate saw, CNC bending machine and other fabrication equipment based on information provided on product blueprints.
- Make adjustments to ensure a quality product
- Versatile in a wide range of operations needed in a manufacturing environment
- Efficiently deburr and polish high-quality parts
- Use required machinery and hand/measuring tools in accordance with routers and blueprints
- Prepare parts for inspection
- Clean, sweep, and empty bins on the production floor as needed
- Ability to stand and operate machinery throughout the duration of shift, except for scheduled breaks
- Ability to lift required objects with or without assistance, turn, load/unload required objects
- Demonstrate safe work habits
- Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and orderly manner
- Maintain current, overall, and job specific trainings and requirements
- Assist in other departments as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Educational Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- Detail oriented
- Manage time with little to no supervision, self-motivated
- General knowledge and experience in a manufacturing environment
- AS9100 Quality compliance, understanding, and commitment
- High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
