We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Purchasing Specialist to manage the procurement of capital equipment, accessories, and other supplies for our dynamic operations team. This role involves cradle-to-grave responsibility, from initial sourcing and vendor negotiations to final delivery and inventory management. Key Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end procurement processes (cradle-to-grave) for capital equipment, accessories, and various supplies, including vendor selection, RFQ/RFP management, contract negotiation, and purchase order issuance.
- Coordinate logistics and shipping arrangements to ensure timely delivery, managing any international or domestic freight requirements.
- Utilize NetSuite or similar ERP systems for inventory tracking, order processing, and reporting to maintain accurate records and optimize stock levels.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., engineering, sales, and finance) to forecast needs, resolve supply issues, and implement cost-saving strategies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and best practices in procurement and logistics.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably with capital equipment and industrial supplies.
- Proficiency in NetSuite or other ERP systems is required; experience with integrated logistics modules is a plus.
- Strong understanding of logistics, including shipping, customs, and inventory management.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a team-oriented environment.
