This is a full-time on-site role located in Greenville, SC, for a Pipefitter and Pipe Welder. The Pipefitter and Pipe Welder will be responsible for installing and repairing piping systems, reading blueprints and specifications, measuring and marking pipes for cutting and threading, and welding pipes to specifications. The role involves working closely with other team members to ensure quality and safety standards are met. Day-to-day tasks include fabricating pipe components, conducting pressure tests to ensure pipe integrity, and maintaining tools and equipment.
- Experience in Pipefitting, including installing and repairing piping systems
- Proficiency in Pipe Welding, including reading blueprints and welding pipes to specifications
- Skilled in using tools and equipment associated with pipefitting and welding
- Knowledge of safety standards and practices in mechanical contracting
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Relevant certifications in welding and pipefitting are a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in mechanical trades is preferred
