Job Summary
Job Summary
The teaching assistant provides support to teachers in an assigned classroom daily, and will fill in for teacher absences for all classrooms. The daily schedule includes working in the classroom working directly with teachers to plan lessons, work with a small group of students or one-on-one with students to assist with their learning. Duties include: Preparing the classroom for lessons Assisting with lesson plans Supporting children across the curriculum PBIS Rewards Recording and reporting a student’s progress to the teacher Motivating and encouraging students Supervising students during school trips or activities Teaching classes on their own for a teacher absence
Requirements / Qualifications
Current 30-day Emergency Sub Credential or PPS (Pupil Personnel Services) Credential, or multiple or single subject credential
TB test Diploma or college transcripts Letter of introduction Resume
