Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced School Principal to lead our special education non public school. The School Principal will serve as the face of the school, engaging with staff, students, parents, districts, and the community to promote a culture of achievement and growth.
Responsibilities
- Provide visionary leadership to develop and implement the school's strategic plan aligned with educational standards and community needs.
- Oversee curriculum development to ensure high-quality instructional programs that meet state and national standards.
- Manage school operations, including budgeting, resource allocation, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Lead and supervise staff through effective management practices, including performance evaluations and professional development initiatives.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive school climate that encourages student engagement and well-being.
- Coordinate community outreach programs to support school initiatives and infrastructure improvements.
- Organize and participate in public speaking engagements to promote the school's mission and achievements.
- Supervise classroom activities to ensure instructional quality and adherence to curriculum standards.
- Collaborate with parents and local organizations to enhance educational programs and community involvement.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in special education administration with a strong background in management and leadership roles.
- Extensive special education classroom teaching experience coupled with supervising or senior leadership responsibilities.
- Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, strategic planning, and budgeting.
- Excellent public speaking skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
- Strong organizational skills with experience managing staff performance and fostering professional growth.
- Background in education administration or related fields; advanced degrees preferred.
- Experience working directly with students with special needs across various age groups is highly desirable.
- Leadership qualities such as vision, integrity, adaptability, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
Pay: Up to $150,000.00 per year
