What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Measure Technician Flooring position at Dynamic Home Solutions LLC?
Location: Portland, ME (field-based, home each night) Pay: $22–24/hour
A well-established, growing flooring and home-improvement company is building out its in-home measurement team, and we'll train the right person on the flooring side. If you come from construction, remodeling, or any hands-on trade and you're precise, dependable, and good with people, we want to talk. You bring the field sense and the work ethic; we teach you how to measure and quote flooring.
What you'll do:
- Travel to residential jobs across your local area
- Measure rooms and spaces using a laser measure and tablet software (we train you)
- Produce accurate diagrams and material takeoffs
- Be the professional face of the company in customers' homes
What we're looking for:
- Construction, remodeling, or trades experience of any kind
- A reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license
- Precision, punctuality, and a customer-friendly manner
- Willingness to learn flooring measurement — no flooring background required
