Responsibilities
- Considers each customer contact as an opportunity to encourage participation in additional value-added products or services offered by the company.
- Maintains basic familiarity with company products and services, pricing, applications, policies, and procedures
- Utilize internal systems to ensure appropriate information is captured, questions are asked and interpreted accurately, and information is thoroughly explained such as eligibility and procedures and coverage details
- Compile, record, and evaluate claims in system with a high level of accurately
- Effectively communicate with team and team lead as required and forward claims and Customer information when necessary, via internal claims platform, telephone, or e-mail or other electronic transmission for further processing in accordance with company policies and procedures Is a team player and works collaboratively with peers and other departments, keeping appropriate individuals informed to assure positive customer satisfaction is maintained
- Effectively manage workload to deliver timely service on inbound claims
- Accurately respond to inquiries with a high degree of respect in a professional and courteous manner
- Excellent intuitive, analytical and problem-solving skills and follow up skills
- Ability to execute tasks with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Must be able to multitask in fast paced environment and be capable of working independently at times with minimal direction
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of call center or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills — able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent and Professional interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Working knowledge of Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
- Adaptability and flexibility to adjust to changing environments and product offerings.
- Team-oriented mindset
- Self-motivated, dependable, and ready to dive in and learn quickly.
