Position Overview

Element by Westin is seeking a dedicated Evening Laundry & Houseperson to join our team in Chattanooga, TN. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel, ensuring a welcoming environment for our guests. The Evening Laundry & Houseperson will primarily handle laundry duties and assist with housekeeping tasks, including cleaning guest rooms on occasion, particularly for any 4pm check-outs.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform laundry duties efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and towels.
• Assist with housekeeping tasks as needed, including cleaning guest rooms for any 4pm check-outs during the evening shift.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of laundry and housekeeping storage areas.
• Support the housekeeping team by replenishing supplies and ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
• Respond promptly to requests from housekeeping and front desk staff.
• Adhere to all hotel policies and safety standards.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Previous experience in laundry and housekeeping preferred.
• Ability to work evening shifts reliably.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Work Schedule

Evening shift, typically starting in the late afternoon to cover 4pm check-outs and evening laundry operations.
