YOUR DAY-TO-DAY AS A GENERATOR TECHNICIANYour typical schedule will be 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday. As a Generator Technician, you will travel to clients’ locations to perform inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of generators and related electrical equipment. You will perform load bank testing on generators to ensure units are in the proper operating condition and meet applicable code requirements. You will work with other technicians on larger repair or installation jobs as well as the office staff for scheduling, parts ordering, billing, and estimating.
