Dynamic Duo Support LLC is seeking a compassionate and reliable female DSP to support a 70‑year‑old woman with an intellectual/developmental disability. This full‑time role includes assisting her at home and supporting her during community outings. The ideal candidate can accommodate the requested schedule, is patient, encouraging, and committed to promoting independence and personal growth.
Schedule (40 hours/week) Monday–Friday:
- 7:00 AM–9:00 AM (Morning Routine)
- 2:30 PM–8:30 PM (Afternoon/Evening Routine)
This two‑shift schedule is a great fit for staff who want full‑time hours with built‑in flexibility. The short morning shift lets you start your day, support the individual, and still have a long mid‑day break for errands, appointments, or personal time. The evening shift provides steady hours and meaningful engagement, creating a predictable routine that many DSPs prefer. Together, these shifts offer work–life balance, a consistent paycheck, and a schedule that’s easier to manage than traditional 8‑hour blocks.
Pay Rate: $18–$22/hour (experience‑based) Hiring Bonus: $500
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct support, companionship, and encouragement
- Assist with morning routine until transportation arrives for day program
- Support with receiving her home from day program and evening routine
- Assist with showering, cooking, feeding, and medication management
- Help with household tasks such as tidying, organizing, and daily routines Promote independence and support ADLs
- Encourage community outings, activities, and social engagement
- Maintain a positive, respectful, and supportive environment
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of DSP or caregiving experience (preferred)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Adult First Aid/CPR certification
