Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients under 12
- Assist in the documentation of patient medical records and treatment plans while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
- Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to assist the dentist during procedures.
- Conduct medical imaging as required, including X-rays and other diagnostic tools.
- Review and maintain accurate documentation of patient care and treatment history.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a smooth workflow and positive patient experiences.
Experience
- No previous experience required.
- Dental Assisting license.
- Nitrous certification would be ideal, but not required
- Familiarity with general dentistry practices and anatomy knowledge is essential.
- Experience with dental assisting, medical records systems, and documentation review is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and comfort.
