Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role (8:30am-4:30pm / 9am-5pm M-F) for a Forensic Mental Health Therapist at a Juvenile Detention Center in Easton, PA. The Forensic Mental Health Therapist will be responsible for providing individual and group therapy to juveniles, conducting mental health assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with detention staff and family members. Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate case documentation, participating in case management, and supporting overall mental health and rehabilitation efforts within the facility. The salary range is 60-65k/year with benefits, PTO, 401k, health/vision/dental, ST/LT Disability, Life Insurance.
Qualifications
- Experience in Treatment Planning and Case Management
- Background in Social Work and Mental Health
- Skills in Individual, Group and Family Therapy and working with juveniles
- Licensed or license-eligible in relevant mental health field (LCSW, LPC, LMFT preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment
- Experience in a forensic or juvenile justice setting is a plus
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field
- Clear criminal history
Salary : $60,000 - $65,000
