One Program, Four Career Paths
Power Learn Academy is a paid, hands-on apprenticeship that prepares motivated people with no prior experience for a career in technology consulting or sales. You don’t need to choose your specialty. Everyone begins with a shared foundation, and after your first two weeks, we’ll work with you to determine the track that best fits your strengths, interests, and aptitude:
- Power Platform Consultant
- ERP Consultant (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central)
- SPEAR Analyst
- Sales Account Executive
Power Platform Consultant
The Microsoft Power Platform enables organizations to rapidly build applications, automate business processes, analyze data, and extend enterprise systems without traditional development cycles.
You’ll learn how to:
- Design and build applications using Microsoft Power Apps
- Automate business processes using Power Automate
- Build data models and manage structured data environments
- Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI
- Extend applications using C#, .NET, and plug-ins
- Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft cloud services
- Support enterprise business applications built on the Power Platform ecosystem
ERP Consultant — Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
Business Central is Microsoft’s fast-growing, cloud-based Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform, used by organizations worldwide to manage financials, operations, supply chain, manufacturing, and project accounting.
You’ll learn how to:
- Understand core ERP and accounting concepts
- Configure and administer Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
- Implement financial management, sales, and purchasing processes
- Support supply chain, inventory, and manufacturing workflows
- Integrate Business Central with other Microsoft technologies
- Assist with ERP implementation projects and client training
SPEAR Analyst
SPEAR is DCG’s structured consulting methodology used to guide clients through discovery, requirements definition, solution design, and implementation planning.
You’ll learn how to:
- Lead structured discovery sessions with clients
- Document and analyze business processes (“As-Is” analysis)
- Develop structured requirements across multiple maturity levels
- Facilitate workshops with stakeholders and technical teams
- Create roadmaps, gap analyses, and implementation strategies
- Support project delivery through User Acceptance Testing and implementation phases
Sales Account Executive
The Sales Account Executive track prepares you to become a consultative sales professional specializing in Microsoft business applications, ERP solutions, and enterprise technology services.
You’ll learn how to:
- Identify client needs and align business challenges with the right technology solutions
- Guide organizations through digital transformation initiatives
- Communicate the value of Microsoft Dynamics 365, Business Central, and Power Platform solutions
- Build the consultative selling, presentation, and relationship skills that drive new business
What It Takes to Be Successful
Past graduates of the academy are able to demonstrate the ability to learn complex business and technical concepts and apply them in practical scenarios. To succeed, you’ll:
- Arrive on time, attend every day, and stay through the conclusion of class
- Participate actively in discussions, labs, and simulations
- Take detailed notes and apply your learning to hands-on exercises
- Ask thoughtful questions and engage with your instructors
- Complete labs, coursework, and assignments on time
- Demonstrate competency in the tools and concepts of your specialty track
- Successfully complete simulation labs and final capstone assessments

Recommended Experience
- Stable work history
- Customer service skills and experience in fast-paced environments are a plus
- An interest in technology or consulting
Experience in technology is NOT required.
