Commercial GC located in midtown Manhattan is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Estimator to join our dynamic team. This individual will play a critical role in preparing accurate and competitive estimates, managing subcontractor participation, and supporting all preconstruction efforts. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and want long-term growth within a reputable firm, we’d love to speak with you.What You’ll Do:Lead the full CM/GC bid process, from initial inquiry through final proposal submission.Prepare detailed and comprehensive estimates at all design stages.Perform quantity take-offs and develop cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment.Solicit and evaluate subcontractor proposals based on drawings, bid packages, walkthroughs, and scopes of work.Develop bid forms, scopes, and supporting documentation for all trades involved.Provide clear itemized hard/soft cost summaries for client approvals.Ensure estimates meet contract requirements and align with company standards.Assist in creating logistics plans and accurately translate those costs into project budgets.Prepare award packages for turnover to the purchasing team post-approval.Collaborate with architects, subcontractors, and suppliers to refine pricing and resolve scope questions.Research, develop, and maintain vendor/supplier relationships to ensure the most current cost data.Remain current with construction codes and industry standards to ensure fully compliant bids.Participate in internal and client meetings to review estimates and answer pricing questions.Thoroughly review plans to identify omissions or clarifications necessary for an accurate full-scope estimate.Analyze completed projects to compare estimated vs. actual costs and support continuous improvement.Experience with State/Federal Government bids is a plus.Modified hybrid work arrangement may be availableWhat Makes You a Great Fit:Strong analytical and organizational skillsAbility to lead complex estimating efforts with multiple tradesExcellent communication and negotiation skillsConfidence working closely with leadership, clients, and subcontractorsA proactive mindset with an eye for accuracy and value-driven solutionshttp://www.dynamicconstruction.com/**Salary will include a strong incentive bonus**Company DescriptionRapidly growing Commercial GC located in Midtown near Grand Central Station and Penn Station.
