- Support utility locating efforts by identifying underground services to prevent project delays or hazards.
- Operate drafting software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, and Carlson to prepare schematics and maps.
- Use GIS tools like ArcGIS for spatial data analysis and land surveying documentation.
- Conduct land surveys by measuring angles, distances, and elevations utilizing trigonometry, geometry, and algebra principles.
- Maintain accurate records of field measurements, sketches, and survey data for project reports.
- Assist with heavy lifting and physical tasks required during site visits or equipment setup to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Basic understanding of land surveying concepts including trigonometry, geometry, algebra, and data collection techniques.
- Familiarity with surveying equipment such as GPS units, 3D scanners, hand tools, and schematics reading.
- Experience or knowledge of CAD software like AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, or Carlson is preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent math skills for accurate measurements and data analysis.
- Good communication skills for collaborating with team members and documenting survey findings effectively.
- Prior experience in utility locating or construction environments is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
