OPPORTUNITY:
We are looking for an EpicCare Management Product Manager for a full-time permanent hybrid role in Yonkers, NY.
*Onsite work is required (once per quarter or as needed). Must be local to the Tri-State area of New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut*

SALARY:
- $130K – $165K annually
OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a Product Manager to manage the Epic teams for support Epic products such as Healthy Planet/Compass Rose, Clinical Case Management, and third-party supporting vendor applications. This role is critical to supporting care coordination activities across multiple care settings.
Must be available to work on-site, when required. Expect an average of once per quarter.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage a team of IT professionals.
- Oversee and manage projects ranging in size, complexity, and scope.
- Manage and prioritize product requests.
- Determine how changes impact the overall system and that of interrelated systems.
- Responsible for the design and delivery of product solutions, ensuring that the end product meets stakeholder needs.
- Oversee the design of workflow for new systems.
- Participate in system go-lives.
- Regularly speaks with clients to address and troubleshoot high-level issues.
- Works closely with the team to deliver high quality customer support.
- Interface and work with other departments to identify and resolve issues regarding coordinated efforts to deliver solutions.
- Allocate team resources to other departments as needed.
Work Style & Mindset:
- This role requires someone who is highly organized, proactive, and able to stay sharp and focused in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate should be able to quickly shift gears, manage multiple priorities, and jump into meetings to provide status updates without missing a beat.
Technical Expertise:
- The candidate should already possess strong technical proficiency, particularly with Epic, which should feel like second nature. They must be capable of vetting builds completed by analysts and guiding teams through best practices and quality assurance.
Leadership Responsibilities:
- This role includes managing seven (7) FTEs and consultants, requiring strong leadership, delegation, and mentoring skills.
Soft Skills:
- Emotional intelligence is critical in this role. As noted by leadership, the workload is high and resources are limited, so the ability to navigate challenges with empathy, resilience, and professionalism is essential.
Additional Duties:
- Participation in Epic on-call rotation.
- Manager on Duty (MOD) responsibilities as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience with any of the following Epic Modules: Healthy Planet, Compass Rose Clinical Build or Clinical Case Management. If candidate does not have upon hire, all three of these Epic certifications are required within 3-6 months of start date.
- Demonstrated experience managing an implementation team.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent projects.
- Product implementation experience.
- Knowledge of IT for health care, health insurance, care management and/or population health
- Excellent critical thinking skills.
- Strong desktop skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
- Excellent skills to communicate effectively with people at all levels in the organization.
- Exceptional emotional intelligence, empathy, and relationship building skills.
- Ability to motivate team members.
- Ability to match team member skills to team responsibilities.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
