Skills We Are Looking For
- Problem-solving skills: systematic troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and the ability to prioritize tasks. An ability to figure things out.
- Communication skills: This position will have direct contact with our customers and the ability to communicate effectively and professionally is a must.
- Proficiency with:
- Operating systems: Windows 10/11 and Server platforms
- Core apps: Microsoft 365/Office, Teams/Zoom, browsers, antivirus/EDR
- Networking basics: DNS/DHCP, Wi-Fi, VPN, IP addressing
- Identity & security: MFA/SSO, password resets, least-privilege concepts
- Ticketing systems: Spiceworks, Zendesk (or similar)
Job Expectations
- Provide Tier 1–2 support via ticketing system, chat, phone and email, and customer screen connects for Windows and common business applications
- Perform on-site support as needed: device imaging, desktop setups, network drops testing, and break/fix
- Account & access management: user provisioning/deprovisioning group/mailing list updates, license assignments following security policies
- Maintain asset accuracy: tag and track devices, manage loaners, coordinate repairs/RMA, and support lifecycle refreshes. Maintain accurate SOP and other documentation for clients
- Contribute to continuous improvement: identify recurring issues, propose fixes, and help standardize procedures and automations
Work Conditions
- Hybrid role fielding calls from the office with frequent on-site requirements for hands-on support, deployments, and events
- May include after-hours or weekend work during maintenance windows or critical incidents. Extra time-off provided under these circumstances
- Ability to lift and carry up to ~35 lbs. for equipment moves and setups
Additional Preferred Skills
- Experience with Azure AD / Entra ID, Microsoft 365 administration, Exchange Online
- Experience and knowledge of XDR solutions
- Basic scripting/automation (PowerShell, Power Automate) for diagnostics and automation of routine tasks
- RMM Skills: Ninja, Datto, or similar
- IT Glue or similar documentation tools
- CompTIA A / Network / ITIL Foundation or similar certifications
- Fortigate, Meraki, Ubiquiti certifications and knowledge
- Dynamics 365 CRM or Business Central knowledge
