We are seeking a proactive and skilled Line Technician to join our manufacturing team. This role is essential for maintaining operational efficiency and safety across our production and packaging lines. Key Responsibilities
As a Line Technician, your primary duties will include:
- Operational Support: Providing direct technical support to the packaging and manufacturing departments, ensuring seamless operations.
- Engineering Assistance: Supporting and assisting the Engineer in various technical projects and day-to-day tasks.
- Installation & Maintenance: Planning and executing the installation, repair, modification, commissioning/decommissioning, and validation of machinery.
- Troubleshooting & Problem Solving: Actively identifying and troubleshooting problems related to safety, production machinery, and material handling systems. You will be expected to ensure timely implementation of solutions.
- Equipment & Repair Management: Providing technical support related to equipment and repairs, maintaining optimal functionality of all production assets.
- Safety & Compliance: Serving as a champion for safety by closely following and encouraging safe practices and company safety policies among all personnel.
- Documentation: Utilizing training in troubleshooting and logging problems and solutions to maintain accurate and thorough technical records.
Skills & Qualifications Required
To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience in a high-speed manufacturing or industrial maintenance environment.
- Technical Aptitude:
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Ability to produce and read mechanical drawings.
Ability to read electronic schematics.
Ability to use CAD software (e.g., for viewing and minor modifications).
Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools for repair and installation tasks.
- Problem-Solving: A methodical problem-solving approach to diagnosing technical faults and implementing effective, timely solutions.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with engineering, production, and management teams.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
