Location: Connecticut (on site)Firm: Dynamic Beta Investments (DBi)Role OverviewDBi is hiring a Senior Data Engineer to own and scale the firm's data and internal platform infrastructure.This role works directly with the PM and supports research, portfolio management, and production workflows.Responsibilities- Own ingestion, normalization, and storage of hedge fund, market, and proprietary datasets- Manage integrations with external data providers- Design and maintain pipelines into Snowflake using Fivetran and custom ETL- Implement data validation, reconciliation, and quality controls- Maintain clean, reproducible historical time series- Design and maintain REST APIs for internal data access- Maintain and extend internal tools including Streamlit dashboards- Work with external partners such as Everysk on critical workflowsRequired Qualifications- ~5 years experience in data engineering or investment systems- Strong Python and SQL- Hands-on Snowflake experience- Experience building APIs- Understanding of financial time-series dataStrong Plus- Hedge fund, asset manager, or fintech experience- Streamlit and ETL tooling familiarity- Cloud infrastructure exposureThis role is a senior individual contributor position with high ownership and direct impact on investment workflows.
Salary : $119,000 - $161,700
