Shipping Specialist Assistant

Position Summary: Shipping Department Assistant

Dynalec Corporation is seeking an individual who is familiar with working in a shipping department and has a manufacturing background with military packaging experience. Knowledge in Excel and Word preferred

Primary Responsibilities: Packaging

• Choosing correct material when boxing/crating
• Break down packaging code to determine the method to pack
• Vacuum Sealing
• Packaging parts per job order

Processing:

• Possess basic computer skills
• Knowledge of UPS World Ship software a plus
• Knowledge of FED EX Ship Manager software a plus
• Filling out bill of lading for truck freight
• Keep a clean and orderly work area

Preferred Requirements:

· Must be reliable and good attendance is required

· Must have some basic knowledge of computers for reviewing schedules and inputting data

· Must be able to regularly lift 75# or more

· Individual needs to be capable to work independently and with others

· Must be able to operate a basic pallet jack

· Ability to work overtime as needed.

Pay Rate: $22.00 to $25.00 depending on experience.

Hours: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
