We are seeking an innovative AI/IT Strategy Lead to serve as an internal technology consultant and executive advisor, driving significant company growth through process improvement and strategic technology adoption. This foundational role will lead the effort to leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) and creative digital solutions to optimize operations, consolidate data, and eliminate time-consuming, repetitive tasks, thereby maximizing labor efficiency. This is a high-impact, strategic leadership role requiring executive vision and strong business process analysis, rather than hands-on technical support or coding.
- AI Strategy and Process Improvement: Spearhead AI and automation projects from concept through strategic design, implementation oversight, and review, focusing on core business problems in the Service, Construction, and Sales divisions. Serve as the technical architect for all AI-driven workflows, including design, advanced prompt engineering, and governance (e.g., Gemini Enterprise, Copilot, or specialized platforms). This role does not involve in-house code/application development.
- Process Improvement & Optimization: Analyze existing departmental workflows and technology gaps to identify high-value opportunities for automation that yield the greatest cost savings and efficiency gains.
- Data & System Consolidation: Direct the implementation of integrations (e.g., APIs) to connect data sources (Google Sheets, financial software, field service applications) into a unified platform for executive decision-making.
- Technology Vetting & Roadmapping: Evaluate and recommend new enterprise software (e.g., ERP systems, inventory tracking, field service management) to ensure scalability and alignment with future business needs, advising leadership on technology investments.
- Foundational IT Strategy and Vendor Management: Serve as the high-level internal point of contact for technology strategy across DynaFire and a trusted advisor to management.
- Asset Management: Oversee and execute the high-value project to complete the device migration, resolving the current billing and asset control issues. Vendor Liaison: Strategically manage outsourced IT partners (OrlanTech, Nuvo overseeing contracts and driving the long-term plan to build internal IT capabilities in a cost-effective manner.
- IT Infrastructure Planning: Define the future structure and needs of an in-house IT department, focusing on strategic roles (e.g., network, cybersecurity) and providing a plan for replacing current Managed Service Providers. Define the long-term internal staffing needs for the AI/IT department and be responsible for the recruitment, hiring, and direct management of future AI experts, data analysts, and IT support staff.
Training and Certification Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science
- Experience with outsourced IT vendors and service contracts.
- Strong knowledge of AI cybersecurity, and cloud systems.
- Proven ability to evaluate systems, negotiate vendors, and manage costs.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
- High integrity, accountability, and problem-solving ability.
- Highly Preferred: Proven experience in AI/ML strategy application, advanced project management (PMP/agile), or technology consulting background. Demonstrated capacity for continuous learning and seeking relevant certifications is valued.
