Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead and manage maintenance teams, ensuring effective coordination and execution of maintenance activities.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs utilizing CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) tools to optimize equipment uptime.
- Oversee the repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance of mechanical systems and other industrial equipment.
- Interpret schematics, technical manuals, and engineering troubleshooting guides to diagnose issues accurately.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations by conducting regular safety audits, training sessions, and maintaining a safe work environment.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and safety procedures in accordance with company policies.
- Coordinate with external vendors or contractors for specialized repairs or system upgrades as needed.
- Monitor inventory levels of parts and supplies essential for maintenance operations; oversee procurement processes.
- Enforce maintenance repair procedures and safety protocols across the team to uphold high standards of quality and safety.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify and respond to problems in a timely manner.
- Training maintenance staff in procedures and best practices.
- Coordinating with other departments to optimize performance and output.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- This position manages employees and is responsible for the performance management and hiring of the employees within the department.
Education and/or Experience
- Proven management experience in industrial maintenance environments with supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and industrial equipment systems
- Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards and regulations related to industrial maintenance.
- Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and documentation purposes.
- Strong communication skills in English to effectively lead teams and liaise with stakeholders.
- Experience with maintenance management software or automated systems is advantageous.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience in industrial maintenance environments.
- Leadership and team management capabilities, including training and performance evaluation.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
