DynaDome is hiring a Senior Architectural Designer with strong parametric modeling and architectural drafting expertise. This role supports Sales, Engineering, and Manufacturing by producing conceptual designs, architectural drawings, parametric models, fabrication drawings, BOMs, and product documentation.
You will help develop and maintain the workflows, standards, and modeling structure used across our proprietary retractable structure systems.

Responsibilities:
- Create renderings, conceptual models, and preliminary plan sets.
- Support sales presentations, customer meetings, and architect discussions.
- Develop parametric, rules-based models (Revit, Inventor, or similar).
- Create configurable families, assemblies, and product components.
- Maintain clean modeling standards and organized project files.
- Produce architectural drawing sets for submittals.
- Develop architectural/structural details from design and engineering direction.
- Prepare clear, organized drawing packages for review and approval.
- Create fabrication drawings, shop drawings, and assembly details.
- Generate BOMs from parametric models.
- Coordinate with Production for manufacturability and assembly feedback.
- Maintain proprietary part libraries (active, legacy, revised).
- Manage file organization and version control in Autodesk Vault.
- Support product improvement efforts with detailed modeling and documentation.
Formal Training
- Formal architectural drafting/design education required (Architecture degree, Architectural Technology, or accredited drafting program).
- Must demonstrate mastery of:
- Dimensioning standards
- Annotation hierarchy
- Plan/section/elevation composition
- Detail referencing and sheet organization
- Lineweight and graphic standards
- Advanced proficiency in Revit, Inventor, or another parametric modeling platform.
- Ability to produce fabrication/shop drawings and BOMs.
- Strong understanding of architectural drafting standards.
- Experience with Autodesk Vault or similar document management systems.
- Ability to establish and maintain modeling/documentation workflows.
- Experience improving CAD/BIM standards and design templates.
- Strong organizational skills with large design libraries and product data.
- Formal architectural drafting/design education required
