Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities
- Provides urine drug and breath alcohol testing.
- Responsible for providing medical activities for occupational testing services such as nursing physicals, audiograms, Pulmonary function test, ECG’s, vision testing, blood pressure as well as other medical assessments as requested.
- Assists with internal medical policy and procedure development.
- Orders medical supplies as required.
- Trains contract employees on medical equipment use.
- Graduate from an accredited Practical Nurse program.
- Current registration, and insurance (if applicable), with applicable provincial regulatory body is required.
- Minimum of 1 year of practical experience performing nursing duties in a clinical setting.
- Certification as a Professional Urine Drug Screen Collector and Breath Alcohol Technician is desirable.
- A valid Driver’s License and a good driving record are required.
- Able to be on-call during evenings and weekends (reliable transportation is a must).

- Good computer and MS Office skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, while interacting with internal and external clients, both on the telephone and in person
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively and professionally under minimal supervision.
