Position Overview
The Injection Molding Process Technician will maintain control of processes in thermoplastic and silicone injection molding in addition to providing support to the execution of the production schedule including mold changes, setups, first piece submissions and troubleshooting in support of the manufacturing floor.
Position Responsibilities
- Safety is everyone’s responsibility
- Perform mold changes and startups per Authorized Process (AP) documentation
- Availability to work in Somers and Ellington facilities where necessary
- Availability to cover weekend work on an infrequent as needed basis
- Perform first piece inspections on job startups
- Perform process troubleshooting and part inspections to ensure part conformity/quality
- Routine use of Trouble Shooting Matrix (TSM) documents
- Perform material changes, mix material and support material handling
- Perform required in-press mold cleanings
- Ensure 5S areas maintained in everyday work
- Verify paperwork for jobs and completion of inspections at start up and in process
- Monitor and prepare support equipment (i.e. circulators, grinders)
- Assist in break coverage as needed
- Regular, on-time attendance at work is an essential function of every job at Dymotek

Minimum Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Mold Technician experience is required
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems
- Ability to read measuring devices, i.e. micrometer, Vernier calipers, Acu-Guage, etc.
- Must be able to stand for 8-12 hours while turning, twisting, reaching, pulling, pushing, clutching, placing and lifting up to 50 pounds
Highly Desirable
- ISO 9001/13485 knowledge
- Working knowledge of IQMS ERP systems or equivalents and MS Office/Teams

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
